From a series of landscapes paintings inspired by memories real and imagined. Inspired by the places that hold special meaning to me here in New Zealand, and back in Canada where I once lived.
 
The original painting was inspired by those hot still summer days, with a sky heavy with weather and a cool reflective lake, both a welcomed respite.
